Is there any way of finding out If the battery is going to let me down. Is there anything in settings to tell me how much
juice is in the battery?
During this lockdown I've only been nipping to the supermarket early mornings with lights and air con and I feel
the battery is quite low by now.

You can put a volt meter on the battery.
Around 12.5 V when engine off
Around 14.5V when engine running and thus charging battery

The old method to check if battery is on its way out, is to put headlights on beam and start engine, if lights dip or go out when starting engine then battery is well discharged or finished. On modern cars, switch off start stop tech, as that kills the car battery, you may only get 3 years out of a battery, instead of 7 years, even with so called start stop battery.

During lockdown it is best to take the car on a run 7 miles out and back (the legal Boris PM distance by bike LOL :D), say half an hour run to charge engine for the week, That's what I do. It keeps the battery charged.

Just drove 40 miles so I'm hoping it's had a good charge. Though I did have to have the air con on and off to get rid of condensation.
