Has anyone had trouble getting there ecsport repaired I had my bumper smashed ford body shop ordered parts last October and parts not arriveing till may ford can not get replacement parts been in touch with ford uk and they are having no luck getting parts

Not so good for a Ford part are normally available, interesting if anyone else has had the same problem, its still a not so popular model in the UK but over six months??

Have heard of this problem before with other models and another manufacturer and was told it's because the vehicles and parts are not manufactured in the uk and everything has to be imported, and due to warehousing costs they only carry a small amount off parts. But six months is a rediculous amount of time when you consider all the courier companies parts could be shipped almost over night.

Isn't the ES built in Brazil? (heard it was built in Brazil for the Indian market) So that could be why parts are difficult to get hold of.
