Hi all!

I have some more P13W white LED daytime running light bulbs to replace those horrible standard yellow ones on the Ecosport.
These are the only ones that will fit the Ecosport.
I have sold quite a few of these now and I have another 5 pairs available on EBay.
Here is the link to the listing:

I also have a 'how to fit' video on Youtube as well, pretty straight forward to do yourself
Here's the link to that:

Many thanks to those members on here that have purchased some in the past :D

You can't access the bulb from behind? Really don't fancy pulling apart my 3 week old car. Manual doesn't give many clues but seem to think you could get to it from behind the bumper?

For those that have bought LED bulbs that do not fit because the diameter is slightly to big, if your handy and have a Dremel with a drum sander attachment they can be made to fit. See the video and pictures below.

The following video is just to show the initial job, the picture after shows how the LED looked after I modified it and then a picture of it installed.

Don't forget to refit the 'o' ring back in its groove before fitting to the light unit.

Nice DIY job, well done, but I have no idea why there is not a common sized diameter for these lamps, and some are just a bit too big in diameter to fit, and you do not know till you buy them and try to fit them, whether they will go in or not.

This is what has put me off buying a set of LED lamps.

Also just to mention these fit straight on with no mods and they look so much better than the standard yellow bubs! They are a bit of a pain to fit though requiring some of the wheel arch liner screws to be removed to reach up from under the car to replace them.

Its my birthday soon, so that will be an excuse to get some, as I do not like the standard yellow bulbs, makes it look poor quality finish, when everyone else's car on the road had LED's.

Definitely a great birthday gift to self - I do it all the time! ;@) I saw a new Mustang only yesterday with the standard original yellow DRL bulbs in and it looked very cheap and tacky especially on a £30k+ fast Ford. Luckily they use the same type Ford Fog light bulb holder as the ES.

Fitting Tip: You may want to use making tape and tape up underneath the car where you reach up to change the bulb as my arms were scratched up due to the sharp edges of the underside of the front bumper.

I'd only go for the ones that fit first time, if they are too big I wouldn't fancy taking a dremel to the housing as you'll never be able to fit original ones back in again.
