Messaged Ford several weeks ago regarding the spec of the Titanium XFinally got a reply this morning,
His what I asked them and there reply is below:
Considering purchasing a Ford Ecosport Titanium X when they become available,
can you confirm which items will be available as an option or fitted as standard
from my list:
Capless Fueling
Rear Tinted Windows
Heated Front
Screen
Sony DAB Stereo
Ford DAB Stereo
Front Heated Seats
Ambient
Interior Lighting
Power Folding Mirrors
Projector
Headlights
Mats
Stop/Start Technology

Their reply was,
Thank you for your email. Please accept our apologies for the delayed
response.

Thank you also for your interest in the Ford
EcoSport.

With regards to your query, I have spoken with our specialist
who has advised there is currently only one variant of the Ecosport currently
available, and this is available with a 'Titanium X kit'. From the list below I
have listed what is included:

Capless Fueling
Rear Tinted
Windows
Mats (Front and Rear)
Power Folding Mirrors
Projector
Headlights - LED signature lights

Please note this also includes partial
leather trim, 17" alloys and automatic headlights and wipers and cruise control.

I hope this information has helped. If you do have any further queries
please do not hesitate to contact me.

Really would like to order a Ecosport but the trim level puts me off, the climate control that is installed in the Ecosport looks very basic and lacks front heated screen and Auto options.
Looks like I will have to wait till I see an Ecosport in a showroom in the UK before making my mind up and placing an order.

This is what I know so far;
Following the ‘Limited Edition'* launch campaign, EcoSport will be available in Ford showrooms as a stylish Titanium series featuring 16in alloy wheels (with alloy spare wheel and cover), front fog lamps, silver roof rails, power door mirrors, keyless entry and Ford PowerStart.
Other standard features include remote locking, Thatcham alarm, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, daytime running lamps, ABS, ESP, EBA, seven airbags, EATC, CD/radio with USB/aux in, multifunction leather steering wheel, power front and rear windows, rake/reach adjust steering, height/lumbar adjust driver's seat, rake adjust rear seat and floor mats. Prices for this model will range from £14,995 to £17,495 on the road.
There will be a choice of three engines - the multi-award-winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost offering 125PS and 125g/km CO2, the 1.5-litre petrol offering 112PS and 149g/km CO2 and the 1.5 TDCi offering 91PS and 120g/km CO2. The 1.5-litre petrol engine is available with either manual or Powershift transmission.
The Ford EcoSport's optional extras have been packaged together for customer convenience. There are four options - metallic paint, Ford SYNC with Applink, Rear Park Assist and a Titanium X Pack. The Titanium X Pack, priced at £1,000, contains leather seat trim, 17in alloy wheels, cruise control, automatic lights, automatic wipers and automatic dimming rear view mirror.
Ford EcoSport “Limited Edition* and Titanium versions will arrive in the UK in spring 2014. A price list and customer order guide is attached.
uploads/1/Ford_EcoSport_Price_List_effective_Sept_4_2013.pdf

*Limited Edition is an EcoSport Titanium fitted with Titanium X Pack, SYNC with AppLink, Rear Parking Sensors, Panther Black Metallic Paint and up to three free apps (subscription and duration to be confirmed prior to completion of purchase). In the UK only 120 of these vehicles are available to purchase with this specification at the price which is shown. The vehicles themselves are not badged as “Limited Edition (save for the word “Limited appearing on the spare wheel cover), this description references the limited number of vehicles with the specified options available for purchase at this special price.
Ford have stop start in their Fiesta so I'm surprised it's not standard for emissions reasons in the EcoSport. As for DAB - they are heavily pushing their new SYNC APPLINK system with the Ecosport but I've not heard any mention of the 'standard' radio / CD / DAB functions yet..

I will be disappointed if they do not have heated frontscreens. My last 3 cars have been Fordsand one of the main reasons that I have been loyal to Ford is the heated front screen.Cheers

Ford Ecosport brochure Clearly shows no Front Heated Screen or Auto Option on the EATC unit.I'm guessing this UK Titanium X is going to be more like a Zetec.Take a look athttp://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-drives-initial-ownership-reports/Here your find reviews from owners in India of there new Indian built Ecosport, the spec of the Titaninum O seems to be quite Basic compared to a Ford vehicle built in Germany or Spain.Ford are saying it will have tinted rear windows, capless fueling and Power folding mirrors, I don't believe them!!I will wait to see a UK Titanium X in a showroom before I order. I don't won't any nasty surprises if I order before seeing.

Hi igglepiggle,The EATC should have an auto ability as ETAC stands for Electronic Automatic Temperature Control.I agree with you though, I will have to see the final spec.and the finished carbefore I make a decision.Cheers

I have had and extended test drive if the EcoSport on the basic model. It has an Auto climate control, but I can confirm it does not have heated front screen. The dealer emphasised this will not be included in the X pack either. Although the model I have in order will have Cruise Control 17" alloy wheels and the other items mentioned in a previous post. Although enthused about the drive and quality My only concern now is that Ford keep extending the delivery date to the show room. I ordered my car on 23 December and ETA is now 28 June. Tomé that is not the Spring as promised!!! So watch this space. My sorrow is that Ford hold the dealers responsible and seem to refuse to accept that it is their problem!!! The power of the large corporations. In the end it is the customer that looses out!

I have just took delivery of my new ecosport and am totally disappointed as there is no folding mirrors, the stereo is the basic model that is available in the fiesta style, no privacy glass and worst of all no heated front wind screen. have been told that this is because they have a sound deadening layer on screen. I cant tell the difference, so the car is going back to ford as not very happy with the standard of finish

I was told by dealer that it would have a DAB radio - so I won't be impressed if it doesn't. I am also disappointed about the lack of a heated front windscreen - I didn't ask about that, but assumed it would have as my last two Fords have had that and they were only Zetec specs.

my garage has said that the reason for not having the front heated screen was that the car was released 2 years ago in brazil and nobody requested it over there so they didn't make it, what a no brainer they don't get any frost over there.also that we are the only country in Europe that has embraced the digital age so that was the other reason for not having a DAB radio I smell something that comes out of a bulls bum!!!!!!!!!!.I hand the car back on Sat the garage will use it as a demonstrator they have already said that no ford owner who is used to the spec of a titanium will not buy this car

I've had my ecosport for a few days now. Its the limited edition x pack. In terms of the spec - the auto climate control is fine, there are no privacy windows, it has electric mirrors, but only to adjust the mirror, not auto folding. It doesn't have a heated front screen. It is a standard stereo - although it does sound very good. It does have applinkand it does have cruise control, auto lights, leather seats, steering wheel, keyless entryetc. It doesn't have capless fueling. The quality and finishing of the car are fine - some elements a little plasticky, but not as much as I had expected from the reviews - perhaps some adjustments were made in Europewhen being quality checked. It should have had the full-on Sony Dab stereo and the finish that you'd normally get in a titanium spec ford in the UK - that would have made it outstanding. However, it's good to drive - not too much body roll considering the height of the car - the steering is very light - a bitlike the Fiesta when parking, but it's like thatmost of the time - that takes some getting used to, but it's not awful, it feels pretty good when cornering. Overall I'm pleased with it, but it's not as fantastic as it could have been. It's nice to have something a bit different though.

So pleased for Black and Red that they have now received their new EcoSports. Still waiting for mine. Cannot understand Fords delivery prediction. Two identical ecos ordered by my dealer early October, one personalised to me in December, both released same date both in Europe, both modified now and one has a June delivery the other a July delivery. This is about the 4th revision of the date. Would have given up long ago if I didn't want the car so badly!!

Still not received our EcoSport Titanium either. The word from the dealer is that a number of cars (ours included) have failed quality control in Europe quite significantly and been returned to the factory.

Allegedly, Ford UK distribution (progress?) are not responding to any emails regarding EcoSport deliveries...

I don't know how true this is, but 'miraculously' an identical car to ours has been 'found' and is on its way for us. Still no actual delivery date, but at least this one has managed to make it into UK...

As our car was ordered in October and we too had been given ever-changing delivery dates, we were on the verge of cancelling the order and buying one of the cars advertised on AutoTrader (there's about 20 at the moment, of which about a third are brand new and sat in the dealers).

How can Ford get this so wrong! We'd have cancelled our order weeks ago and bought a Captur if the Renault salesman hadn't been so useless!
