Hi Dave, not really wanting to advertise, but I always check with 'kwik fit' first when parts of an exhaust goes, price for standard steel exhaust parts is usually good, and you are covered with guarantee for a year. It will be a direct replacement cloned exhaust based on genuine Ford parts. Nothing wrong with that.
If you are fitting yourself, then dealer genuine parts will likely be dearer.
Exhausts have come a long way with respect to lasting a longer time than the ones of decades ago. My exhausts on my old 1980's and 1990's Fords would last 3 years max, or even only 1 year. Though they were cheaper back then.
