My low fuel warning light came on with an estimated miles remaining. I have put fuel in to quarter of a tank and the fuel warning light is still on showing 21 miles left before empty. Anyone know how to resolve thanks.

Fuel warning light problems are usually down to the float switch within the fuel tank.

It can get jambed up or go faulty.

This was interesting thanks, I brimmed my tank (2019 1.0 STline auto) then next day the gauge read a little over half - it sneaked up to full over a 90 minute drive, must be connected to the same issue. For a while i thought someone had siphoned off or the tank had leaked.
