Hi, My problem with the Tyre monitor is that even after pumping up tyres and resetting the alarm after about a week it kicks off again , had 2 new front tyres fitted , still does it , if you switch off the monitor it still goes back to main alarm when you start the car up . Any ideas ?
Are your actual tyre pressures matching the selected load setting. If the load setting is maximum then you will need to maintain these pressures.
If the issues just started after the tyre change did they put the wheels back on the car in the same position, if not the sensors will be misidentified. These models appear to self re-learning without the tool and need to be driven on a straight road without turning for a couple of miles at 30mph.
Failing that one or more of the sensors may have been damaged during the tyre change.
