The armrest on my 2018 Ecosport seems quite wobbly - even by Ford's standards. It has been noted in a couple of motoring journalist reviews that it's a bit flimsy, but I'm not sure if it should be this bad.
Has anyone else had this issue and does anyone know how to tighten it up?

Ended up figuring this one out for myself!
For anyone having this or issue or interested to know, read on - I’ve also included some images which should help.
There are 2x 10mm hex head screws to the rear of the centre console, at the base where the plastic trim meets the carpet on the transmission tunnel.
You need to prise off the back panel, preferably with a trim removal tool but a flat head screwdriver would probably work too. It’s held on by 8x clips and 2x fir tree-type screws. As always with these things, a little bit of force is sometimes necessary!
Once you’ve got the panel off, simply tighten up the 2x hex head screws with a 10mm spanner and clip the panel back on. Simple!
